Bartending Licenses

INITIAL BARTENDING LICENSE

Application can be provided to you by your prospective employer. If not, you can receive a copy of the application from the License Bureau.

After completing the application, the manager or owner authorized to hire employees must check and sign the application. After the application has been completed, it must be brought by the applicant to the License Bureau.

Applicant must bring the below listed documents with the completed\signed application:

  • Social Security card (mandatory)
  • Employment authorization card (I-795)
  • I.N.S Resident Alien card (I-90)
  • Birth Certificate or Passport
  • Driver’s License or Federal / State Identification with picture
  • Two (2) recent Passport Photos
  • IdentoGO criminal background check required ($56.05 for fingerprints)
  • If you have been arrested, attach all of your dispositions
  • $55.00 License application fee (cash)


    You must have two forms of identification. If your identification does not have an address, you can bring a utility bill under your name. If you are staying with someone, you must have that person write a letter stating you are residing with him/her. THIS LETTER MUST BE NOTARIZED.

BARTENDING LICENSE RENEWAL

Licenses expire in June of every year regardless when it was initially acquired. The manager or owner will inform you of renewal dates and times.

The below listed documents must be brought to the License Bureau for renewal:

  • Employment Authorization Card (I-795)
  • I.N.S Resident Alien Card (I-90)
  • Proof of Address with your name (if you changed your address since your latest renewal\initial license)
  • $55.00 License application fee (cash)
  • All Applicants will be required to be re-fingerprinted on their third renewal (every three (3) years)
  • If you have been arrested since you latest renewal/initial license, attach all of your dispositions
